472 coronavirus cases in last 24 hours; 274 districts under scanner: Health Ministry

Four hundred and seventy-two cases of coronavirus have been reported in the last 24 hours, Luv Agarwal, the Joint Secretary at the Union Health Ministry, said at his daily press briefing on Sunday. Agarwal said that 274 districts across the country have so far reported positive cases. The country has a total of 736 districts.

China has donated as many as 1,000 ventilators to New York, the epicenter of the coronavirus pandemic in the US, as the authorities grappled with an insufficient supply of the life-saving equipment amid a surge in the number of coronavirus cases that have crossed 1,00,000 in the state. Coronavirus: 40 cases of local transmission in Delhi; total tally at 445

The national capital saw 40 cases of local transmission out of a total of 445 patients infected with the deadly coronavirus, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said at a briefing on Saturday. The remaining cases are either related to the Nizamuddin Markaz and foreign travel, he said.
