In a conversation with Shekhar Suman, the actor spoke about the uncertainty he experienced while trying to find substantial work, while maintaining that he never doubted his abilities as a performer. Siddiqui explained that his determination came from having committed himself entirely to acting. Recalling the mindset that helped him navigate the difficult phase of his career, he said, It was that we had no other option. Nor did we keep one. It was an absolute do or die. It was do or die. It was like we will only do this, even if it takes 50 years, if we are at it. Yes, we will stay at it. There was a stubbornness and belief too. There was a belief that the day we get it, we will show them that day. That was there. The belief was there because you had practiced so much on acting. Yes, yes absolutely. So there was not even a slight doubt about this thing. But with me, there is no doubt about the skill, the doubt is whether I got the opportunity or not. Yes, now of course I got it.. in Sarfarosh, I got a 40-second role. 40 seconds, yes, so for those 40 seconds I had enough confidence that when my 40 seconds come, I will bring everything to a halt, people will only watch me. The teaser sets up a cat-and-mouse dynamic between Sugam and the hacker as the investigation gradually takes him closer to the people allegedly operating the scam. With the railway waiting list serving as the starting point, Waiting Hai looks to turn an everyday travel frustration into a larger mystery. The teaser combines situational humour with elements of investigation, while the contrasting personalities of the police officer and hacker form the central dynamic of the series. Directed by Sameer Vidwans, Waiting Hai marks another project that blends comedy with a crime-driven narrative. Celina Jaitly has marked two years since her brother, Major (Retd.) Vikrant Kumar Jaitly, was detained in the United Arab Emirates with an emotional note on social media. Reflecting on the difficult period, Celina revealed that she has had no contact with her brother since his detention on September 6, 2024. She said she has done everything possible as a sister and continues to place her faith in God and the Government of India. Sharing a post on Instagram on September 6, 2026, Celina wrote, 6 September 2026 marks. Two years today since Maj Vikrant was taken. 6th September 2024 to 6th September 2026. These two years have changed both my brothers life & mine in ways only known to us. I have had no contact with my brother since. I have done everything I can as a sister, & I continue to stand by him, wherever he is, however he is, with faith & hope in God & the Government of India. Celina also spoke about her brothers military background. She described Vikrant as a fourth-generation infantry soldier who was commissioned into the Corps of Signals after training at the Military College of Telecommunication Engineering. He later joined the elite Special Forces and served with 3 Para Special Forces. He also served on a United Nations peacekeeping mission in Lebanon with the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) and received the Chief of the Army Staff Commendation for Gallantry. In November 2025, the court directed the Centre to take steps toward ensuring effective legal representation for Vikrant and asked authorities to attempt to facilitate communication between the siblings. However, in March 2026, the Delhi High Court rejected Celinas plea seeking consular access, legal assistance and communication with her brother after it was informed that Vikrant did not wish to communicate with her and wanted to handle legal matters after consulting his wife, Charul Jaitly. Following the development, Celina maintained that her primary concern had always been her brothers safety and well-being. She also suggested that his decision not to communicate with her could have been an effort to protect her from further emotional distress. For Elnaaz, The Fix marks a very different kind of milestone. Zara isnt simply a character passing through the story. Zara is introduced as an Iranian-born, American-raised college student who finds herself posing as Tuckers wife as he navigates a dangerous mission in Iran. What begins as an arrangement soon becomes more complicated, as the relationship between Zara and Tucker develops and the stakes around them continue to rise. The role also carries a particularly personal connection for Elnaaz. Born in Tehran herself, she speaks both Farsi and English in the film and brought an innate understanding of Iran and its culture to the character. Rohit Saraf is set to portray revolutionary Sachindra Nath Sanyal in Prime Videos upcoming period drama series The Revolutionaries. The actor has undergone an extensive physical transformation for the role, following director Nikkhil Advanis vision for his appearance as a young revolutionary. Speaking about his preparation for the series, Rohit revealed that the physical aspect of the character required nearly 15 months of work. He also underwent around three months of training in traditional physical disciplines, including Mallakhamb and Kushti. Primarily, my preparation was physical. It took me almost 15 months to transform my body, while the training in different art forms for the series lasted about three months, he said. Saraf went on to continue, When I met Nikkhil sir for the first time, he told me he wanted me to have a physique like Brad Pitt in Fight Club. And I remember thinking, I was active, I was fit, but I was definitely not Brad Pitt from Fight Club. So a huge part of the preparation was getting my body to where he envisioned it for the character. Beyond that, he also wanted me to learn Mallakhamb, Kushti and other forms of physical training. The sessions were intense and, in all honesty, pretty gruelling. I would constantly send Nikkhil sir videos of what we were doing, and I think what I enjoyed most was seeing, bit by bit, how all of that training was changing the way I looked and moved. Rohits physical transformation is part of his preparation to step into the world of the freedom struggle and portray Sanyal, a revolutionary figure associated with Indias independence movement.
