Gas supply from imported LNG cargoes to the floating terminals has been disrupted due to adverse weather conditions. As a result, overall gas supply has fallen by around 400 million cubic feet (MMcf) from the normal level. Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma laid the foundation stone for a 3,200 MW thermal power plant of Adani Power Limited in Chapor, Dhubri district of Assam, India. The prices of diesel, kerosene, octane and petrol have been increased by Tk 20 per liter, less than a month after the previous price adjustment. The new prices will come into effect from Monday. The Finance Division of the Ministry of Finance has issued a notification on the new pay and allowance structure for government employees. The new structure will be effective from July 1.
