The prices of diesel, kerosene, octane and petrol have been increased by Tk 20 per liter, less than a month after the previous price adjustment. The new prices will come into effect from Monday. The Finance Division of the Ministry of Finance has issued a notification on the new pay and allowance structure for government employees. The new structure will be effective from July 1. Government employees will also receive arrears for the months of July, August and September. Gas supply to Bangladeshs national grid rose to 2.61 billion cubic feet (Bcf) on Tuesday, supported by increased supplies of imported liquefied natural gas (LNG), Petrobangla said.
