Starbucks to build first India GCC in Chennai with 800 tech jobs
The US-based coffee company has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Tamil Nadu government to establish a technology hub in Chennai. The centre is expected to create around 800 technology roles, with hiring to be phased according to business requirements. For Starbucks, the move is also about bringing more technology work inside the organisation.
