A 442-megawatt solar power plant is being constructed in Rampal of Bagerhat. The price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) has increased. The price of a 12kg LPG cylinder has jumped by Tk 252, rising from Tk 1,585 to Tk 1,837. The Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) announced the new price on Sunday. The prices of LPG cylinders weighing between 5.5kg and 45kg have also been increased at the same rate.
