PSU banks' gross NPA declines from 14.6% in Mar 2018 to 5.53% in Dec 2022

The government has taken various reforms following which asset quality of public sector banks has improved significantly with gross NPA ratio declining from the peak of 14.6 per cent in March 2018 to 5.53 per cent in December 2022, Parliament was informed on Monday. Rupee appreciates 11 paise to 82.48 against US dollar in early trade

The rupee continued its upward trend and rose 11 paise to 82.48 against the US dollar in early trade on Monday, tracking fall in crude oil prices and firm Asian currencies. Microfinance loan disbursal rise 19% to Rs 77,877 cr in Q3: MFIN Micrometer

Loan disbursals by microfinance companies increased 19 per cent to Rs 77,877 crore during December quarter 2022-23, said the MFIN Micrometer.
