Ayurvedic doctors can now perform surgeries in A.P.

As per the orders issued by Health Minister Satya Kumar Yadav, Ayurvedic students can perform 39 general surgical procedures and 19 for diseases of eye, ear, nose, throat, head, and oro-dentistry; he directs officials to introduce relevant postgraduate courses and equipment immediately at the Vijayawada Ayurvedic college
