46,491 people treated for drug addiction in J&K in 2025-26: Rajya Sabha told

Srinagar, Aug 12: The number of people treated for drug addiction at centres supported by the Union Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment in Jammu and Kashmir rose to 46,491 in 2025-26, the highest annual figure recorded in the last five years, according to data tabled in the Rajya Sabha on Wednesday.
