Previously, the 2021 film Sardar Udham, directed by Shoojit Sircar and starring Vicky Kaushal, was also based on the Jallianwala Bagh massacre. Meanwhile, Kesari Chapter 2 will be released in theatres on April 18.

Apart from Urvashi Rautela, the film also features Randeep Hooda, Vineet Kumar Singh, Regina Cassandra, Saiyami Kher, and Swarupa Ghosh in pivotal roles. The film will release on April 10, 2025.
