Nationwide mock drill underway ahead of NEET-UG re-exam; security tightened

Today marks an extensive nationwide mock drill aimed at guaranteeing a smoothly conducted NEET-UG 2026 retest scheduled for June 21. More than 22.79 lakh candidates are expected to sit for the exam in 551 Indian and 14 overseas cities. Strict security protocols are being implemented at the NTA headquarters and testing centers. This exercise is crucial for assessing readiness and ensuring a secure, transparent atmosphere for the medical entrance test.
