Parvez Musharraf who had hailed Osama Bin Laden & Taliban had sung praises of Rahul Gandhi too - called him a gentleman and pledged his support to him!! Perhaps this is the reason why Shashi Tharoor is eulogising the architect of Kargil & a backer of terrorism!! Attacking the Congress, Poonawalla tweeted that, from 370 to the surgical strike, the Congress, which doubted Balakot, is hailing Musharraf, while our own Army Chief was called a road goon by the Congress. He took command of Pakistan by overthrowing the democratic government of Nawaz Sharif in the year 1999 and was the President of Pakistan from June 20, 2001 to August 18, 2008. Terrorist attacks on India increased during Musharraf's tenure. In 2005, Parade magazine included Musharraf in the list of the world's 10 worst dictators. We don't appreciate Singh's personal views. But views of the party are above Digvijaya Singh's views. The views are generated from the conversation within the party. I would like to assure you that his views...are not views that are held by the centre of the party, he said.We are absolutely clear that armed forces do a job. They do the job exceptionally well. They don't need to be providing proof for anything, he said. Gandhi said it is in the culture of the Congress to allow conversations. Sometimes when those conversations happen and people who have extreme views tell their views. However, in BJP and RSS there is no practice of conversation. Once they decide anything and nobody can talk after that, he added.
