Govt releases 184 varieties of 25 crops to hike productivity

Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan unveiled 184 new crop varieties, including 122 cereals and 22 Bt cotton, aimed at boosting productivity and climate resilience. These advancements, developed by ICAR, universities, and private firms, will be available to farmers within three years.
