13 dead, 20 injured in Palghar tempo-trailer accident; CM Devendra Fadnavis announces compensation of Rs 5 lakh each

A tragic accident occurred in Palghar, Maharashtra, on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad Highway. A tempo packed with guests for an engagement ceremony collided with a speeding container trailer. The collision claimed 13 lives and left 20 others injured. The tempo was reportedly overloaded and on the wrong side of the road.
