Madras HC prohibits release and circulation of Tamil book with derogatory remarks against Justice G R Swaminathan

The Madras High Court has banned the release and circulation of a Tamil book containing offensive remarks against Justice G R Swaminathan. The book was scheduled for release at the Chennai Book Fair. The court has initiated contempt proceedings against the publisher. The state police will enforce the prohibition. The book fair is organized by BAPASI.
