Smriti Mandhana creates history, shatters 28-year-old ODI world record

Indian opener Smriti Mandhana has set a new world record in ODI cricket. She surpassed Belinda Clark's long-standing record for the most runs scored in a calendar year. Mandhana achieved this feat during the 2025 Women's Cricket World Cup match against South Africa. She has now scored 982 runs in 17 innings this year.
