NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday accused the Nehru-Gandhi family of making a habit of amending Indias Constitution as it suited their interests, starting with the countrys first PM Jawaharlal Nehru. The Constitution was amended 75 times in six decades. The seeds of this habit were sown by the first Prime Minister, and nurtured by another- Indira Gandhi, Modi said. HyundaiMotor India Limited (HMIL), the countrys second-largest carmaker, will increase prices across its model range by up to Rs 25,000, effective from January 1, 2025. The price increase, according to HMIL, has been necessitated owing to an increase in input costs, adverse exchange rate and increase in logistics costs.
