In a recent court hearing, Satyaki Savarkar emphasized that V.D. Savarkar had no hatred for Muslims, contradicting Rahul Gandhi's portrayal of him as a rabid extremist. He pointed out that Savarkar's literature offered constructive pathways for Muslim development. Also entered into evidence was Gopal Godse's interview, which discussed Nathuram's ties to the RSS, directly related to the ongoing defamation case regarding Gandhi's remarks made in London in 2023.
