There's a new effort on the runway to raise climate funds

A coalition of countries is proposing a premium flyer tax on private jets and first/business class airline seats to fund climate change adaptation. While only two industrialized nations currently support the initiative, proponents hope it will generate much-needed revenue for low and middle-income countries without increasing debt.
