Namma Metro to Tumakuru: Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Ltd floats tender for detailed project report

Bengaluru Metro is set to extend its Green Line to Tumakuru, a 59.6km inter-city project. BMRCL has floated a tender for the detailed project report, with an estimated cost of Rs 20,000 crore. The proposed line, featuring 25 elevated stations, aims to boost Tumakuru's industrial growth and expects 15,000 passengers per hour.
