Trump opens US Navy shipbuilding to allies
The order also calls for a new acquisition plan for surface combatants, the establishment of a fifth public Navy shipyard, a new submarine component repair centre and reforms to the Naval Sea Systems Command to speed up deliveries and reduce bureaucracy.
