Women's HIL: Odisha Warriors beat Soorma Hockey Club in shootout

JSW Soorma Hockey Club scored twice in the second quarter to eke out a 2-1 victory over Shrachi Rarh Bengal Tigers in their Hockey India League (HIL) match.

JSW Soorma Hockey Club earned a comprehensive 5-1 victory over Delhi SG Pipers in the Women's Hockey India League.

The two sides had played out a 1-1 draw three days ago in Ranchi with the Odisha Warriors then winning the penalty shootout thanks to goalkeeper Jocelyn Bartram's heroics.

Gonzalo Peillat scored a brace as Hyderabad Toofans ended Tamil Nadu Dragons unbeaten run with a 4-0 win in the men's Hockey India League in Ranchi on Saturday.
