Manoj Muntashir has admitted that writing and defending Adipurush was the biggest mistake of his life. The lyricist and writer said he is ashamed of the film's dialogues, apologised to the audience, and sought forgiveness, admitting he failed to do justice to Lord Ram and Lord Hanuman.

Actor Rajkummar Rao has come under controversy regarding the political promotional song 'Modi Hai Toh Mumkin Hai' released in 2025.
