AIIMS unveils MadhuNETrAI, Indias first fully validated AI app to detect diabetic retinopathy

AIIMS, in collaboration with the Union health ministry and Wadhwani AI, has launched MadhuNETrAI, an AI-powered mobile app for early detection of diabetic retinopathy. This validated tool screens retinal images within seconds, enabling primary health facilities to identify at-risk patients, aiming to prevent vision loss across India.
