15th release since 2017: Gurmeet Ram Rahim granted 40-day parole; to remain at Sirsa headquarters

Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, serving sentences for rape and murder, has been granted a 40-day parole. This marks his 15th release from Sunaria Jail, Rohtak, since his 2017 conviction. He will spend his parole period at the Dera headquarters in Sirsa.
