A CRPF officer lost his life in an IED blast. The incident happened during an anti-Maoist operation in Odisha's Sundargarh district. Assistant Sub Inspector Satyaban Kumar Singh was critically injured. The blast took place near K Balang village. It occurred during a joint operation by CRPF and Odisha Police SOG. Singh later succumbed to his injuries in a Rourkela hospital.
