100-year-old Hindu temple demolished in Pakistans Punjab, minority groups demand probe

A more than 100-year-old Hindu temple in Pakistans Punjab province was demolished in Siraj village, Narowal, on August 21. While minority groups have alleged deliberate demolition and encroachment, the Evacuee Trust Property Board has maintained that the temple collapsed due to torrential rains. Calls have now grown for an investigation and restoration of the historic site.
