Sunita Ahuja celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi with her children Yashvardhan and Tina as she hosted a festive pooja at her residence. The star wife of veteran actor Govinda shared glimpses of the celebrations on social media, offering followers a look at the familys festivities, from the preparations and aarti to the arrival and farewell of Lord Ganesha. Among the guests who caught attention were Kashmera Shah and her children, Rayaan and Krishaang. Also, Krushnas sister Aarti and her husband were also in attendance. Their presence at Sunitas Ganesh Chaturthi celebration comes against the backdrop of the much-discussed equation between Krushna and his maternal uncle Govinda and the latters family. Krushna Abhishek and Govinda had publicly spoken about their strained relationship over the years. However, the equation appeared to improve after Sunita Ahuja made an appearance on the sets of the comedy-cookery show Laughter Chefs. The appearance had sparked conversations about the families putting their differences behind them. The family reunion was also visible during Raksha Bandhan, when Krushna and his sister Aarti Singh celebrated the occasion with their cousins Yashvardhan and Tina. Krushna had shared glimpses of the celebration on his social media, giving fans another indication of the families coming together. Meanwhile, Sunitas Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations also saw several familiar faces from the entertainment industry. Among those in attendance were Lock Upp Season 2 personalities Akansha Chamola, Shivangi Joshi, Harshad Chopda, and others. Sunita was also associated with the reality show. Filmmaker Sajid Khan and Hunar Ali were among the other celebrities who were part of the gathering. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Ssunita (@officialsunitaahuja) While the celebrations brought together Sunita, her children and several guests, Govinda was notably missing from the glimpses shared by Sunita. His absence comes amid ongoing reports and speculation surrounding the couples relationship. However, neither Sunita nor Govinda has publicly confirmed the nature of the reports, and the reasons behind his absence from the Ganesh Chaturthi gathering remain unclear. Sunitas Instagram montage captured several moments from the festive occasion, including the familys prayers, preparations and the farewell to Bappa, giving fans a glimpse into the celebrations at the Ahuja household. Gaurav Dhingra has worked on several significant films in different capacities, including Mangal Pandey (2005), Delhi-6 (2009), Angry Indian Goddesses (2015), Stolen (2025), etc. Now, he has founded Jungle Book Studios and is distributing Angh. Set in Nagaland in the 1960s, the Konyak-language film had its world premiere at the 51st annual Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) on September 15. In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Hungama, Gaurav Dhingra spoke to us from Toronto about Angh and a lot more. When asked about his future plans, Gaurav Dhingra replied, I want to work on mid-sized films, which have disappeared from our market like Gangs Of Wasseypur (2012), Shanghai (2012), Bareilly Ki Barfi (2017), etc. There was a phase last decade when such movies were doing great. Actors like Ayushmann Khurrana, Rajkummar Rao, etc dominated this zone. This space disappeared because TV channel revenue has fallen sharply. Today, satellite rights are sold for a mere Rs. 10 lakhs. 10 years ago, one could get crores of rupees for it. Gaurav further said, If a producer today makes a film in Rs. 30 crores, hell need to spend Rs. 10 crores on marketing. Hell then consider how much he can earn from the box office, satellite and digital. Only three players exist in the streaming space. Theres monopoly in music as well, while satellite revenue is negligible. Hence, its risky for a producer to make a mid-sized film in such a scenario and he has disappeared. So, its either a super-small-budget film being made or a big-budget venture. Meanwhile, the mid-sized films, which had content, entertainment, depth, music etc. is no longer being made. We want to target that segment. Of course, we wont spend Rs. 100 crores and instead invest Rs. 20 crores. We are trying to work in this model differently and have a few such projects. Years ago, Gaurav Dhingra worked on a film called Peddlers as a co-producer. It starred Gulshan Devaiah and Nimrat Kaur and was directed by Vasan Bala of Monica O My Darling (2022) and Jigra (2024) fame. Eros International, Anurag Kashyap and Guneet Monga were the film's producers. When asked about the status of this film and whether it can ever be released on OTT if not theatrically, Gaurav Dhingra sighed and said, If you know the team at Eros International, please call and ask them, Aap iss film pe kyun baithe hue ho 16 saal se?. We made it in 2010. He added, Hence, only they can answer. Hum toh dukhi ho gaye. Nevertheless, I thank the people who gave us such horrendous experiences. Thanks to those experiences, we stopped going to anybody for help. Aise gande experiences hue shuru mein ki humein realize ho gaya that we cant be dependent on anyone; we should do it ourselves. Hence, its good that it happened, as it taught us a lot. Katrina Kaif opens up on beauty secrets amid trolling: My skin became more sensitive post-pregnancy
Katrina Kaif has opened up about her evolving skincare journey, revealing how post-pregnancy changes made her routine more careful and intentional. Her comments to The Hollywood Reporter arrive at a time when the actress has faced extensive trolling over her recent post-pregnancy appearance, making her beauty insights particularly resonant for fans navigating similar concerns. Katrina explained that her skins needs changed significantly after becoming a mother. Post-pregnancy, my skin became even more sensitive, so it was a really tricky time because I had to understand what products were working for me. I found myself looking for products that felt soothing, calming and restorative, she said. This phase led her to prioritize barrier health in her regimen. Speaking about her own range of products, Kaif added, It reinforced my belief that focusing on your barrier support and repair is so important, as its our skins first line of defence to environmental stressors. Reflecting on how her approach to beauty has evolved over the years, Katrina noted a shift from external stereotypes to internal well-being. Its changed a lot. When I started out early through my modelling and acting career, there were a lot of stereotypes about what the beauty standards were. Now for me, looking my best is really about feeling my best, and that comes from taking care of myself as a whole, she stated. She listed several non-negotiables that influence how her skin behaves: A healthy diet, keeping the inflammation in your body under control, staying active, meditation, a phone-free daily hour of your morning and getting natural light first thing in the morning. It all makes a huge difference to how I feel, and ultimately how my skin behaves. I think when you feel healthy, that confidence naturally reflects on the outside. Katrina also emphasized the importance of being responsive to her skins changing needs. Ive learnt to be adaptable and responsive to what my skin needs at a particular phase or time. Stress, inflammation and environment all play a big factor. Sensitive skin can behave very differently from one day to the next, she said. At present, her focus is on hydration and resilience. Right now, in this phase, Im focusing on deep cellular hydration, supporting and strengthening my skin barrier and keeping it calm and resilient. Even makeup application is hugely improved when the skin is cared for, Katrina added. With her candid breakdown, the actress offers a blueprint that goes beyond productscentring on barrier care, lifestyle balance and self-trust in a phase of life that many women find confusing and highly scrutinized. Hema Malini recently opened up about changing trends of stardom and also touched upon being dignified while ageing gracefully. In an interview with Mumbai Mirror, she said, Today there is too much exposure. We were never exposed like this. Now, before stepping out of the house, an actor has to think about what to wear, what bag to carry, how to walk, because somebody is photographing you from every angle. You go to the airport and people immediately click photographs with their mobile phones. Even if youre not dressed properly, nobody cares. The picture is everywhere. She also remarked, Youngsters today want quick fame. For publicity, they are ready to do anything. We never had to do all that. We worked for 60 or 70 days on a film and then waited to see the result on screen. I always knew I had done my best. Whether the film became a hit or not was a different matter. We are living in times of cosmetic procedures are fairly common. Hema Malini endorsed the idea but with terms and conditions. She remarked, Ageing gracefully is very important because you have to maintain yourself. If there is something genuinely necessary for your appearance, one can definitely try it. As long as you are in the public eye, you have to be presentable. Thats all. But dont overdo anything. She then added, Even if you wear something simple, be dignified. Women should dress up nicely. They dont have to expose too much. Nowadays, young girls expose so much. Being a woman and being a mother, I dont like it. It really hurts. Two weeks before this interview, Hema Malini, in a rare instance, revealed why she had declined Satyam Shivam Sundaram (1978), admitting that she was uncomfortable with the bold portrayal of the female lead. She revealed, After Sapno Ka Saudagar (1968), I always wanted to work with Raj Kapoor saab again. After some years, he wanted me to do Satyam Shivam Sundaram. But he himself told me, I know you wont do it. I told him that I would love to work under his direction, but I wouldnt be able to do this film. She also penned a long note in the caption, as she spoke about the curtains falling on the show. She wrote, My last day on set as Emily Im speechless. Its impossible to find the words for what this journey has meant to me. For so many years, Emily has been a part of my life, and through every season, shes continued to surprise me, inspire me, and challenge me. Thank you, Darren Star, for dreaming up this endlessly optimistic American girl in Paris who finds herself constantly outside of her comfort zone, learning to trust herself while leaning on others as she navigates her new life. Lyricist Sameer Anjaan recently revisited a difficult chapter from the early stages of his career during an appearance on Komal Nahtas Game Changers: The Music Series. The lyricist recalled an incident involving a music director, who he chose not to name, and revealed how the encounter became a moment of self-doubt before eventually motivating him to continue pursuing songwriting. Sameer, son of veteran songwriter Anjaan, recalled that the incident took place before he met music director Usha Khanna. He said the unnamed music director was a good acquaintance of his father. After listening to several of Sameers songs, the music director reportedly questioned his decision to pursue songwriting. Sharing details of the interaction, Sameer said, There was an incident before I visited Usha Khanna. I will not disclose the name of the music director, but he was a good acquaintance of my father. He further recalled, I showed him a few of my songs. After listening to 1520 songs attentively, he said, 'You have a good education, you had a job, and you are the son of such a good Shayar; why would you ruin his reputation? I can give you in writing that you will never become a songwriter. Dont waste your time here. If you need money, I will give it to you; go back to Banaras.' In anger, he threw my music diary from the third floor, he shared. The incident left Sameer questioning his abilities as a songwriter, particularly because the criticism had come from someone who knew his father. However, he said he remembered a line from his fathers work, which gave him the motivation to continue. He went on to add, While I was going down to retrieve it, I had so many questions in my mind. This music director was a friend of my father. He had listened to my songs for 45 minutes to an hour, and if his reaction was like this, was there a problem with my skills? Then I remembered a line from my fathers work: 'Jag abhi jeeta nahi hai, tu abhi haara nahi hai. Faisla hone se pehle haar mat swikaar karna.' I found new motivation in those words. I picked up my diary and went straight to Santa Cruz, to Usha Khannas house in Khar Road. Sameer Anjaan is among the prolific lyricists in Indian cinema and holds a Guinness World Record for writing the highest number of film songs. His appearance on Game Changers: The Music Series offered a glimpse into the struggles that preceded his established career. This version keeps the focus on the incident and Sameers recollection, while avoiding unverified conclusions about the unnamed music director or adding details beyond the supplied material.
