Activist Sonam Wangchuk has finally reacted to Salman Khans viral Sonam, its done bro remark, which became a talking point on social media after the actor appealed to him to call off his hunger strike. Wangchuk addressed the comment during his appearance on Prakhar Guptas podcast, where he was also shown a T-shirt featuring Salmans picture along with the now-famous line. During the conversation, Wangchuk was asked whether he was aware of Salman Khans comment. As the T-shirt was handed to him, the activist smiled before sharing his reaction to the actors remarks. Around the same period, Salman Khan took to X to address the student protests over the NEET paper leak. The actor expressed his support for students coming together to demand improvements in the education system. A day later, he appealed to the protesting students to end their demonstration and also urged Wangchuk to call off his hunger strike. Salman even offered to send him homemade food. The students are at top priority, educationally n security-wise, so they need not worry and have their parents worried for them. Actress Avika Gor has opened up about her experience on Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 15 days after her elimination from the stunt-based reality show. Reflecting on the experience, Avika said the show has changed the way she looks at life, fear, challenges and situations beyond her control. Since its premiere, the film has drawn attention for its layered narrative, grounded storytelling and performances, particularly that of Nimisha Sajayan, who plays suspended police officer Babita Singh, also known as Baby. The story begins with Baby investigating the murder of her childhood friend. However, as she searches for answers, the case gradually becomes more than a pursuit of the truth. The film uses the investigation as a backdrop to explore a womans gradual journey towards understanding herself and making choices for her own life. He says, It was a very well-written script, which is rare to find. The script was like gold, something so good coming from Amita Vyas. Babita has so many roles in her life- she is a wife, a daughter-in-law, and she has always put those roles ahead of her own professional ambitions and goals, choosing to think about herself later. What I found beautiful about her journey was watching her take that first step towards listening to herself and making decisions based on what she believes is right, irrespective of what others think. These may seem like small steps, but they are incredibly important because, with each one, she moves closer to understanding herself. That balance between wanting to find the truth and, in the process, finding yourself was what I found so powerful and beautiful about the story. Unfortunately, as citizens, what can we do other than get worried and be hopeful? Yes, the film speaks about a very ugly truth within which society today exists, and we are all part of that society. Prithviraj added, I have an 11-year-old daughter. I am at that uncomfortable stage as a parent where now I have to start talking to her and letting her know about what is safe and what is unsafe. If we were to live in an ideal world, we would never have that conversation. But we do not live in an ideal world. But what can we do as citizens other than talking to our children? He continued, Make no mistake, the conversation should not just be with your girl children. It should be equally and vociferously with boys as well. I strongly feel that if theres an extra ounce of responsibility on any side, it is with us, the men. We are the ones who should carry the torch to make sure that this conversation is spoken about. Daayra is about two characters on opposite sides. On this, he opined, You really cant take a side. The side is just that of justice. We are having this conversation because theres a problem with the deliverance of justice. We are living in a system where the deliverance of justice is so cumbersome, so slow and so drawn out that it is humanly understandable that we sometimes lose hope in it. That needs to be addressed. In terms of justice, there are no two sides to it. He exulted, I just hope for a day and time when the deliverance of justice is faster, more coherent and does not come with years and years of waiting for it to arrive. When asked why the duo took so long to work together again despite being described as a deadly combination of talent, Boman pointed to the filmmakers established group of collaborators. But the movie was great. So, there was no question of age. Having said that, they (Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan) will be accepted because they are good in the film. But the movie has to be good, and the movie is good, he concluded. Haiwaan is the official remake of Priyadarshans 2016 Malayalam film Oppam, which starred Mohanlal.
