After nearly 17 years in the industry, Sikandar Kher says his relationship with acting has become more complicated with time. In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Hungama, the actor opened up about how his approach to the craft has evolved, describing his equation with acting through the analogy of a marriage. Looking back at his journey from his assistant director days to becoming an actor, Sikandar said he did not initially have a relationship with acting. I was just going on set and doing whatever I was doing, he said. Describing his current equation with the craft, he added, My relationship with acting is extremely complicated. It's not a situationship. It's a relationship. I am married. I am a married man with acting. Let's just say that. There are always fights. Sikandar went on to explain that despite the occasional frustrations, he remains deeply attached to the profession. I have a friendship with acting, to make it sound as beautiful as it can. Because I am not only madly in love with her. I would do anything for her. But I also get very upset with her from time to time, where she can also get upset with me, he said, referring to acting as she. The actor also spoke about deliberately pushing himself beyond his comfort zone. According to him, stepping into unfamiliar territory can bring nervousness and self-doubt, but ultimately teaches him more about himself. For Sikandar, the people he works with are equally important to the process. The whole thing should be joy. The making of something should be joy. It should be fun, at least for an actor, he said, adding that he continues to believe there is always something new to learn. When asked about his non-negotiables while choosing a project, Sikandar initially pointed to the script, but stressed that he is willing to make significant physical transformations for a role. I will become bald for my character. So there is nothing non-negotiable, to be very honest, he said. However, the actor drew a clear line when it comes to his ethical boundaries. Recalling a scene from a show that he felt was unnecessary, he said he had refused to perform it, particularly because he did not believe the scene was important to the character or story. There are some things that might be non-negotiable, that might be ethically something that I do not agree with. That will be non-negotiable, Sikandar said. For him, the fundamental principle remains simple: Just respect for one another is important. Sikandar Kher is set for a busy second half of 2026, with several projects lined up across different stages of production. In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Hungama, the actor revealed that while he is currently shooting for multiple projects, he is also gearing up for the release of Prahaar and working on dubbing assignments. When asked how things were going, Sikandar responded with his characteristic humour. It's going good. You tell me, you kept me on hold for so long, he said. Asked if he had been shooting for something secret, the actor replied, Many secret things I am shooting for, many. While he remained tight-lipped about those projects, Sikandar shared, Dahaad (Season 2) is going on. Prahaar is releasing. There are some things that are going to start. Some dubbing is going on. So yeah, by the grace of God, I am busy. View this post on Instagram A post shared by SK (@sikandarkher) With several projects in the pipeline, the actor was asked if audiences could expect more of him in the second half of 2026. You will get tired of seeing me. There are going to be so many releases, he said. Kritika Kamra revisits Gianni Versaces 90s rebellion in Archival runway look
Following her recent appearance in an archival Dior gown at her wedding reception, Kritika Kamra has once again looked to fashion history for inspiration. At a recent event in Mumbai, the actor wore an archival Gianni Versace runway piece from the designers Fall/Winter 1992 collection, famously known as the Miss S&M or Bondage collection. The outfit was also a fitting choice for the theme of the event she attended. The collection remains among Versaces most provocative and unconventional works, with the designer drawing on themes of rebellion, sexuality and subversion and translating them into high fashion. Kritika gave the vintage piece a contemporary touch, carrying the look with confidence while staying true to its original character. With her background in fashion and continued interest in the craft, the actor has often shown an appreciation for the thought and history behind the clothes she chooses, rather than simply following current trends. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Kritika Kamra (@kkamra) Her latest Versace appearance marks her second archival fashion moment in recent weeks, following her Dior gown. Through these choices, Kritika continues to explore archival fashion as more than a nod to nostalgia, using significant pieces from fashion history to connect past styles with the present. Her approach also highlights the growing interest in archival fashion, where iconic designs from earlier eras are being revisited and styled for contemporary occasions. Popular Bhojpuri actress Aamrapali Dubey has entered the Bigg Boss house, bringing her years of experience in the regional film industry and a substantial fan following to the reality show. Ahead of her stint, the actress opened up about the challenges she expects inside the house, including constant surveillance, unfamiliar surroundings, nominations and discussions around her past controversies. When asked if she would carry a lucky charm into the Bigg Boss house, Aamrapali said that she plans to take pictures of her family with her. She also spoke about the spiritual belief that gives her strength, saying, Well, there wont be any lucky charm as such. I will just carry a few pictures of my family. And I am very lucky because I always carry Mahadevji in my heart, so I dont need a lucky charm.I know that he resides in my heart, and thats the only thing I need, not just for the BB house but to survive in real life as well. So thats my only source of strength, and its more than enough. The actress admitted that she is not entirely prepared for the experience of being filmed around the clock. Describing how she expects to react to the constant presence of cameras, she said, Just imagine, 24 hours a day, I dont know what the feeling will be like. It will probably be like that dialogue, The police have surrounded you from all sides. I feel it will be that kind of feeling. Ill try my best to look all poised and everything throughout, but I dont think I will be able to keep up with that for a very long time. After some time, I feel the makeup, hair and costumes will start becoming boring.Thats when people will start witnessing my acne-prone skin in full zoom. But I dont know what I am going to do about the cameras. Aamrapali also discussed the tasks and nomination process, suggesting that the emotional challenge of living with strangers could be more difficult for her than the competitive aspects of the show. She said, I think tasks and nominations are a part of the game, so that wont really bother me very much. The tasks will be physically draining. Nominations will be mentally challenging when it comes to deciding who to stay with and who to let go of. But living with people you dont know is something that will be emotionally challenging, and that, I think, will be the most difficult thing for me. After spending almost 35 years of my life with my set of people, I am very attached to my people. So, when I dont have them around and there are these new people around me, I dont know how easily I will gel with a few of them or all of them, or how many people will like me or dislike me, or how many people I will like or dislike. That is something that I am more worried about. Addressing the perception that being too nice can work against contestants on Bigg Boss, Aamrapali said that her priority would be to remain authentic rather than deliberately maintain a particular image. She said, I have never thought about being too nice. Ive always thought about being real, and a real person cannot be nice 24x7. Its not a one-day, two-day thing. Its not a one-camera, two-camera thing. Its not an action-cut. Its reality, and in reality, nobody can be good 24 hours a day. People cannot keep saying, Hi, how are you? and being nice all the time. I dont know if it is a disadvantage or an advantage, but it is something that I wont be able to pull off. She further explained what she believes makes someone a strong player on the reality show. Aamrapali added, According to me, a strong player would be someone who focuses on the game. Everything else will continue - friendships, alliances, tasks, nominations and everything altogether but somewhere in the back of their mind, they should always have this thought running 24 hours a day that, I have to win this game. I have come here to win.And according to that, the kind of conduct they maintain throughout the game, I feel that person would be a strong player for me. Aamrapali has also faced public scrutiny and controversies during her career, and she was asked whether she is prepared for those chapters of her life to become discussion material inside the Bigg Boss house. The actress said she has become accustomed to dealing with such conversations over the years. My past controversies are something that I am used to living with now. I was in my teens when I started acting. Since then, I have been judged and trolled. And the easiest thing that people can do to a woman is tell her that she is characterless, or that she is involved with someone, or that all her success depends on some other person. So, I have understood that it is not very easy for people to digest the fact that a woman has made it, and because of that, they keep pinning things on her. And I have lived with it for almost 17 years now, and now that doesnt bother me. I dont care about it, she concluded. Prowl, the mens grooming brand founded by action star Tiger Shroff, recently announced the next phase of its growth journey in partnership with Amazon.in. The brand unveiled an expanded 18-SKU grooming portfolio spanning skincare and perfumes for men including 4 fragrances launching exclusively on Amazon.in. It also announced its first full-scale brand campaign featuring Tiger Shroff and a fresh round of growth capital. Together, these milestones mark Prowl's next step in building a modern, simple and high-performance grooming brand for the Indian man. Prowl entered the mens grooming category in June 2025 with a focused, data-led trial run of six core SKUs. Built around everyday utility, effective formulations and accessible pricing, the initial range was created specifically for Indian men looking for grooming solutions that fit seamlessly into their daily lives. What followed was a strong validation of the brands proposition. The trial range resonated with consumers across marketplaces, helping Prowl rapidly build momentum among men seeking simple, science-backed grooming staples suited to Indian skin, climate and lifestyle needs. Now, building on that early success, Prowl is expanding into a broader everyday grooming universe with 18 products across daily essentials, including body wash, face wash, body lotion, sunscreen, moisturizer, serums, lip balms, soap, roll-on and fragrances. The expanded range will be available on Amazon, deepening the brands flagship marketplace partnership as it scales nationally, with 4 fragrances launching exclusively on Amazon. Tiger Shroff, Founder, Prowl, said, Prowl has always come from a very real place for me. I wanted products that fit into the everyday life of the Indian man; products that are effective, uncomplicated and easy to use. Were not here to create a 10-step ritual or make skincare feel complicated with confusing language. Were here to make grooming simple, dependable and accessible, so men can feel confident, fresh and ready every day. The Prowl premium mens perfumes range, Make Your Move includes four distinct fragrances, each built for a different moment in a mans day: Fresh Start, a citrus and sea-breeze scent for the morning; Active Rush, a cool, herbal fragrance designed for post-workout energy; Alpha Wood, a woody, grounded signature scent for everyday confidence; and Dark Instinct, a warm, spiced fragrance made for date nights. Siddharth Bhagat, Director, Amazon Beauty, Personal Care & Fashion Accessories, added, Men's grooming on Amazon.in is growing XX year-on-year, with customers moving beyond basic grooming to explore skincare, body care and fragrances. With this in mind, we're excited to launch PROWL's expanded range on Amazon.in, including fragrances exclusive to Amazon. The range is designed around everyday utility and accessible pricing; qualities that align with what we're seeing customers look for. As this category continues to grow, we remain focused on bringing customers greater choice and relevant products suited to their evolving grooming needs. The launch also marks the debut of Prowl's first brand campaign featuring Tiger Shroff, bringing alive the brands point of view through a high drama but relatable narrative built around the many real-life archetypes and use cases of the Indian man. The campaign captures the spirit of being prepared for everyday encounters; from work and travel to workouts, city life and social moments, while staying true to Prowl's proposition of uncomplicated grooming that works. Shriyash Jichkar, CEO, Prowl, said, Our first phase proved that Indian men are ready for grooming products that are straightforward, high-performing and built for their everyday realities. The response gave us the confidence to expand thoughtfully. With this next chapter, were not just launching more products but were also building a long-term brand for the modern Indian man. At the heart of Prowl is a clear brand philosophy: grooming should not feel intimidating, overcomplicated or performative. It should be easy to understand, easy to adopt and effective enough to become part of a mans everyday routine. That thinking has shaped everything from product formulation and category selection to pricing, packaging and communication. PROWL believes every Indian man striving to get ahead was Born Ready and our mission is to help him Be Ready for every moment that matters. Anil Kapoor is marking 25 years of Nayak: The Real Hero, the 2001 political drama that continues to remain relevant for its portrayal of governance, corruption and an ordinary man stepping into a position of power. On September 7, the actor shared a video montage featuring memorable scenes from the film and reflected on what drew him to the role of Shivaji Rao. In his post, Anil Kapoor wrote, 25 years of Nayak. What drew me to Shivaji Rao was never just the journey from a common man to the Chief Minister. It was what he chose to do once he got there, to use the power he had to make a difference to the people. He further recalled the significance of portraying a character driven by a sense of purpose, adding, To portray a role with that kind of purpose was a privilege and perhaps that is why Nayak continues to find its way back to people even after 25 years. The actor also reflected on the film's central message and why he continues to be proud of being associated with it. The love for your country, and the desire to do better for its people will never be irrelevant, and I will always be proud to have been a part of such a story, he wrote. What is Nayak about? Directed by S. Shankar, Nayak follows Shivaji Rao, a television cameraman and reporter played by Anil Kapoor. The story begins when Shivaji gets an opportunity to interview Maharashtra Chief Minister Balraj Chauhan, played by Amrish Puri. During the live interview, Shivaji questions the Chief Minister on issues concerning the state and puts him in a difficult position. In an attempt to counter the reporter's criticism, the Chief Minister challenges Shivaji to take charge as Chief Minister for a day and experience the pressures of running the state. 25 years of Nayak. The film also features Rani Mukerji, Paresh Rawal, Saurabh Shukla, Johny Lever, Shivaji Satam, Neena Kulkarni and others in pivotal roles. Nayak was released in India on September 7, 2001. Nayak continues to find relevance Over the years, Nayak has developed a strong following and is frequently discussed for its political themes and its central idea of an ordinary citizen getting an opportunity to bring about change. The film was a Hindi remake of Shankar's Tamil film Mudhalvan. Anil Kapoor's latest anniversary post focuses on the values he believes continue to define the film. By highlighting Shivaji Rao's approach to power rather than simply his transformation from a common man to a Chief Minister, the actor revisited the central idea that made the character memorable. His post also comes amid continued interest in the film, which has remained a reference point in conversations around political cinema and governance even 25 years after its theatrical release. Saiyami Kher is currently balancing a busy professional schedule with her commitment to endurance sports. After attending the world premiere of Pal Bhar Ke Liye at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne, the actress returned to India and quickly resumed promotions for Haiwaan, which also stars Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan. Alongside her film commitments, Saiyami continues to train daily for her third Half Ironman Triathlon. The Melbourne premiere was a special experience for the actress, who got the opportunity to present Pal Bhar Ke Liye to an international audience. The film received a warm response from viewers, making the event a memorable part of her ongoing professional journey. Soon after returning, Saiyami stepped into a packed promotional schedule for Haiwaan. Despite her demanding work commitments, the actress has remained focused on her fitness goal. Having already completed two Half Ironman Triathlons, she is preparing for her third and continues with swimming, cycling, running, strength and endurance training. Speaking about this phase, Saiyami Kher said, Its been a very satisfying phase for me because there has been so much happening on both the professional and personal front. The love we received in Melbourne for Pal Bhar Ke Liye was incredibly special. To see the film premiere there and experience the audience response was something I was very grateful for. And then coming back and getting into the Haiwaan promotions with Akshay sir and Saif sir has been equally exciting. Its a packed schedule, but its a schedule Im really enjoying. Saiyami has also made it a point to maintain consistency with her training despite travel, promotions and long working hours. For her, staying committed to the preparation is an important part of working towards the goal she has set for herself. Ive been very particular about staying consistent with my training. Im training every single day, even when the schedule is hectic. Sometimes it means waking up extremely early, sometimes it means finding time after a long day, but I dont want to make my work an excuse to compromise on something Ive committed to. Training for a Half Ironman requires discipline because you have to keep showing up, whether you feel like it or not, she said. For Saiyami, both acting and endurance sport demand patience, consistency and discipline. While the two require different kinds of effort, she finds the experience rewarding in their own ways. There is a lot of discipline involved in both acting and endurance sport. You have to be patient, you have to put in the work consistently and you have to trust the process. Right now, Im getting to experience that in very different ways. Ive just come back from a beautiful experience in Melbourne, Im now promoting Haiwaan, and every day Im also working towards my third Half Ironman. It can be exhausting, but its also incredibly fulfilling, Saiyami added. Also Read : Saiyami Kher and Vikram Phadnis attend IFFM 2026 for Pal Bhar Ke Liye world premiere

At its centre is Banis journey as she takes on seemingly impossible odds to bring her child back. Taapsees performance has also been a key part of the films reception. Her portrayal combines physical intensity with the emotional side of a mother fighting for her child, giving the character a strong action-oriented identity while keeping her motivations grounded in the story. With Gandhari appearing prominently on Netflix charts across multiple countries, the film has expanded its reach beyond its Indian setting and connected with audiences in several international markets. Masaba Gupta has praised Bipasha Basu after the actress featured as Elle Indias Digital Cover Star, calling her one of the last original stars of her generation. However, a portion of Masabas post has caught the attention of social media users, with several interpreting her comments about Bipashas muscular physique as an indirect response to remarks previously made by Mrunal Thakur. Re-sharing a post featuring Bipasha, Masaba wrote, I am very happy to see Bipasha on a cover. You see, she is the last of the OGs. She went on to praise the actress for standing apart from what she described as increasingly similar beauty and fashion standards. There won't be another Bipasha because everything is a cookie cutter template today, Masaba wrote. She also compared Bipasha with actresses from the current generation, describing some of them as boring and dull and saying that the present generation does not inspire one bit of confidence. Masaba Guptas comment about Bipashas physique goes viral Masabas remarks about Bipashas fitness, however, became the most discussed part of her post. Praising the actress for her athletic build, she wrote, And @bipashabasu- I love your athletic build. I love the muscle- and I want more thanks to the standard of fitness you set. She added, Too bad if someone doesn't see that as feminine. While Masaba did not mention Mrunal Thakur by name in the post, her reference to Bipashas muscular physique led some social media users to connect the remarks with an old interview featuring Mrunal. Why are netizens linking Masabas post to Mrunal Thakur? The conversation stems from a throwback interview from Mrunals television days, when she appeared alongside her Kumkum Bhagya co-star Arjit Taneja. During a discussion about fitness and the kind of physique one might prefer in a partner, Mrunal referred to Bipasha and said, Do you want to marry a girl who is manly with muscles? Go marry Bipasha. Listen, I am far better than Bipasha, ok. The clip resurfaced online in 2025 and drew criticism, with several social media users accusing Mrunal of body-shaming Bipasha. Later, Mrunal issued an apology for body-shaming Bipasha. Also Read:Mrunal Thakur issues heartfelt apology over resurfaced Bipasha Basu comment: I truly wish I had chosen my words differently
