Jaideep Ahlawat confirmed that his character doesn't replace Akshaye Khanna, who also played a law official in Drishyam 2 (2022). When asked if he's apprehensive that he would be compared to Akshaye Khanna, Jaideep said, No, I didn't think people would compare. When I heard the story, it was never envisioned that he's coming in place of Akshaye sir. That character's journey ended and the new character gets introduced. Hence, I didn't felt the need to take pressure. Also, as an actor, you don't think in terms of pressure as I knew the character will have his own journey and that he would have a distinct association with Meera Deshmukh (Tabu) and Salgaonkar family. Jaideep added, When Abhishek narrated, I didn't feel that he's here due to some other character. Abhishek has spent a huge time with this film and its characters. He had far more clarity on what my character should be like and also what sunglasses he wears. It makes the job of an actor easier. And of course, working with such a cast was also a great experience. I felt relaxed. Ajay Devgn remarked, Police couldn't solve the case. Hence, we made the threat bigger and introduced a Crime Branch official. It avoids repetition and changes the whole approach towards the investigation. That's what the film deserved. Riteish Deshmukh recently recalled an unexpected moment of kindness involving a paparazzo outside a Mumbai restaurant. The actor shared that he had no cash with him when he wanted to buy something worth Rs 100 from a child, and a paparazzo stepped in to help. Riteish explained that he was walking out of the restaurant when he noticed a child selling something for Rs 100. Since he usually relies on digital payments, he did not have cash on him. We were walking out, and there was a child who was selling something for Rs 100. You have become so cashless today I wasnt carrying money. Now, I dont carry money because everything is digital, he said. He initially asked his chauffeur, Sau rupaye chhutta hai kya? (Do you have a change of Rs 100?), but was told there was no cash available. Riteish then asked the child whether he accepted Google Pay, assuming he might have a QR code. However, the child replied, GPay nahin hai mere paas (I dont have GPay). At that point, a paparazzo offered to pay the amount on Riteishs behalf. The actor recalled, And it was so nice of one paparazzo, whose name I didnt know, but now, I know, his name is Sushil Mohite, if Im not wrong, but if Im wrong, then Im very sorry. He said, Main deta hoon (I will give). With the situation becoming chaotic due to traffic and photographers around him, Riteish tried to get Sushils GPay details so he could return the money. However, the paparazzo declined, saying, Nahin, rehne do (No, let it go). Riteish later clicked his picture before leaving. Once inside the car, Riteish decided to use Instagram to find him. So then I just posted on my story saying, I owe him. I need to pay him back. And finally, in fact I got his number, he said. After getting in touch with Sushil, Riteish thanked him and insisted on returning the money. Reflecting on the incident, he said the gesture mattered more than the amount. It was the kindness that the pap showed where he wanted to pay for me. Its always chaotic, getting in and out on the road, and the paps are doing their job. We always think that they are probably wanting our pictures and they are in need. But we dont realise that there are moments when they step up to help you, he said. In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Hungama, producer Namrata Singh of SacredIP Trans Media Tech, spoke about it and a lot more. Namrata Singh said, We have always imagined it as a three-part series. We pitched it to everyone as a trilogy. She added, So the first part is of Maharaj ji's early years until Kainchi Dham, second part will focus on Kainchi and the third part will be the international story. Nothing is written yet. It'll take a couple of months for the team to calibrate. We need to take a break before that. We haven't done that in 1 years. We thought we'll get a respite after release but now our days are long! So, we'll at least take 90 days to resume work. Namrata Singh revealed, We know the concept and how the second and third part is looking like. Vishal Chaturvedi is a very fast writer. He wrote the script of the first part in less than a month. We finished the shoot in 22 days. We shot 2 days in Mumbai and the rest in Chitrakoot. It was challenging to shoot there but we pulled it off. Hanuman Ansh is based on the life of Neeb Karori Baba. Among his crores of followers are prominent celebrities like Julia Roberts Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma. Will they make a cameo in the second part? Namrata replied, I have reached out to some of them and there were aware of the film earlier. She further stated, I am a devotee and so is Vishal. We have personal stories with Maharaj ji since 14 years and Vishal for 20 years. We want to make films on our saints and take it to the world. There are thousands of devotees whose life he touched in India and they come first, without doubt. The Kainchi story is about the Indian devotees. Actress-producer Manasi Parekh and singer-performer-producer Parthiv Gohil have unveiled their upcoming slate of three international feature films at the Venice Film Festival. The three projects, which are being developed as Hinglish films, explore different genres and subjects while aiming to connect with audiences beyond geographical and linguistic boundaries. Manasi Parekh and Parthiv Gohil shared the stage at the Venice Film Festival with award-winning international directors Maria Soccor, Michela Scolari and Sophie Venecia Reyes. During the event, Parekh spoke about the importance of nuanced storytelling and how meaningful stories can influence society, shape culture and, at times, redefine value systems. The first film to go on floors will be Purple America, an adaptation of award-winning American author Rick Moodys acclaimed novel. The film explores themes of family, mortality, trauma and love. Moodys earlier novel, The Ice Storm, was previously adapted into a celebrated film by Academy Award-winning filmmaker Ang Lee. The second project, Nanda Devi, is a high-concept international mystery thriller set against the Himalayas. Based on climber Rob Schallers life rights, the film explores the real-life disappearance of five kilograms of plutonium during a covert Himalayan mission. The third film, Laxman, revolves around a young boy whose experiences with poverty and his love for drinking milk inspire him to dream of caring for abandoned cows. His personal dream eventually grows into a larger movement. Robert Downey Jr. Tony Stark, Iron Man MCU debut: Iron Man (2008) It is almost impossible to imagine anyone else as Tony Stark, but Robert Downey Jr. was not an obvious choice when Marvel Studios was casting Iron Man. Producer Kevin Feige and director Jon Favreau considered several actors, but Favreau believed Downey had the charisma and vulnerability the role required. Downey later recalled how determined he was to win the part: I took a meeting at Marvel. And then I was very pushy, to be honest, which is not really in my nature, he said in 2019. Chris Hemsworth Thor MCU debut: Thor (2011) Today, it is difficult to imagine Thor without Chris Hemsworth, but his path to the role was far from straightforward. Hemsworth initially auditioned and failed to make the cut. I think I didn't do too well in my first audition, and my brother was able to get in there, Hemsworth recalled in a 2011 interview. His younger brother, Liam, made it further in the process, but when the other finalists failed to secure the role, Marvel and director Kenneth Branagh reconsidered Chris. He submitted another audition tape, with his mother reading opposite him, and completed physical tests involving stunts, fight sequences and Thor's hammer, Mjolnir. After months of auditions and interviews, Hemsworth landed the role, transforming him from a relatively unknown Australian actor into one of Hollywood's biggest stars. Tom Hiddleston Loki MCU debut: Thor (2011) Before becoming the MCU's most charismatic trickster, Tom Hiddleston auditioned to play Thor. In 2009, he bulked up, wore a blonde wig, and tested for the role, which ultimately went to Chris Hemsworth. However, his audition impressed director Kenneth Branagh and the casting team, making him a natural choice for Thor's mischievous brother, Loki. Hiddleston later recalled that Kevin Feige had hinted at Loki's importance when he was cast in Thor. Kevin Feige suggested Loki would be part of the Avengers storyline when I got cast in Thor, but I was so busy trying to build the character that I couldn't think about it, he said in 2012. When The Avengers came around, Joss Whedon entrusted Hiddleston with the film's principal villain. The role had initially been offered to Emily Blunt, who withdrew because of scheduling commitments involving Gulliver's Travels. Johansson was willing to embrace the character's physical demands and join the still-developing franchise. Her persistence paid off. Natasha debuted in Iron Man 2, became one of the MCU's most important characters, and eventually headlined Black Widow. Marvel Studios returns with Avengers on the big screen with Avengers Endgame: Encore on September 25 and Avengers: Doomsday on December 18 across cinemas in India.
