Sara Ali Khan Travel Style: 7 picture-perfect escapes from Swiss Alps to ancient canyons
The travel diaries of Sara Ali Khan often offer a glimpse into a style that is as relaxed as it is expressive. Whether she is exploring mountain landscapes, unwinding by the sea or taking in historic architecture, the actor tends to opt for outfits that balance practicality with playful fashion choices. From the Swiss Alps to AlUla and Istanbul, here are seven travel moments that showcase Saras approach to holiday dressing. Alpine serenity and mountain chic Against the Swiss Alps, Sara opted for a layered travel look featuring wide-leg checked trousers, a grey tank top and a yellow knit casually worn over her shoulders. A straw visor and gold earrings completed the outfit, adding a polished touch without taking away from the practical mountain-ready aesthetic. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Sara Ali Khan (@saraalikhan95) Desert oasis elegance In AlUla, Sara brought a more resort-focused aesthetic to the desert landscape. She was seen by an infinity pool in a textured metallic two-piece paired with a wide-brimmed sunhat. The combination offered a contrast to the surrounding sandstone formations while keeping the look firmly rooted in vacation dressing. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Sara Ali Khan (@saraalikhan95) Sun-drenched desert monoliths For another outing in the AlUla landscape, Sara chose an all-white linen ensemble comprising wide-leg trousers and a button-down shirt. Dark sunglasses and a white visor added a casual finish, while the monochrome palette stood out against the warm tones of the canyon. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Sara Ali Khan (@saraalikhan95) Istanbul views and playful prints Overlooking Istanbuls Blue Mosque, Sara opted for a youthful combination of a graphic cropped T-shirt, asymmetrical denim mini skirt and bright pink slides. A relaxed silhouette and minimal accessories kept the outfit casual, allowing the historic setting to remain central to the frame. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Sara Ali Khan (@saraalikhan95) Whimsical wanderlust A more layered look came during a fairground outing, where Sara wore a colourful crochet cardigan with a flowing denim tiered skirt and knit beanie. Holding a coffee cup, she completed the cosy ensemble with a relaxed, off-duty approach to styling. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Sara Ali Khan (@saraalikhan95) Vibrant shoreline style For a beach day, Sara embraced colour in a neon lime co-ordinated set. A graphic trucker hat and dark sunglasses added a playful element to the look, while the bright palette suited the relaxed setting. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Sara Ali Khan (@saraalikhan95) Florence and contemporary colour-blocking Against Florences historic architecture and the Arno River, Sara experimented with bold colour-blocking. She paired a bright green top with hot-pink denim shorts, sneakers, a cap and a crossbody bag. The combination brought a distinctly casual, contemporary edge to the European city setting. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Sara Ali Khan (@saraalikhan95) Across these seven travel looks, Sara Ali Khans holiday wardrobe moves between practical layers, resort dressing and bold colour combinations. Rather than sticking to one defined aesthetic, her travel style changes with the destination, incorporating comfortable silhouettes, statement hues and casual accessories along the way. From snowy mountain terrain to desert canyons and sunny coastlines, these looks offer plenty of inspiration for travellers looking to add a fashionable touch to their next getaway. Aparshakti Khurana is set to explore a darker side of his acting repertoire with Gunmaaster G9, an upcoming action drama directed by Aditya Datt. As the film continues production, Datt has revealed that Khurana was his first choice to play the antagonist in the film, which also stars Emraan Hashmi and Genelia DSouza. Speaking about the casting decision, Datt explained that the team wanted to approach the villains character differently instead of relying entirely on familiar tropes associated with commercial action films. We were looking out for a villain. We thought to ourselves, How do we break out? When you're doing these commercial action films, the villain is usually there with certain cliches that you want to break away from, on screen. You can't go away from the cliches, but you try to. Thats where we wanted to put effort, reveals the director, explaining why he picked Khurana. According to Datt, Khurana immediately stood out as the right actor for the role. The director pointed to the actors previous performances, including his work in Jubilee, as one of the reasons he felt confident about the casting. He went on to share, Aparshakti has never played an out-and-out commercial and crazy-ass villain. This was the thought behind going for him. I have seen many of his projects. I thought he was amazing in Jubilee. He nailed his role in the series. Many of his performances are stuck in my head. So, when I wanted to pick the villain, he was the man for me. He was on top of my list. I gave him a call. I knew hed do justice to the role. While Gunmaaster G9 is being positioned as a mass-oriented action film, Datt says the story will not rely solely on action set pieces. The director emphasised the importance of emotional stakes behind the films action sequences. I was very clear about not making a mindless action movie, given I also have such a brilliant cast with Emraan, Aparshakti and Genelia. I believe action makes sense when the emotions behind it are strong. I wanted the audience to understand and realize why the hero is going and beating up 10 people. It has to have a strong emotional intent. Otherwise, it's another gimmicky piece. I would call Gunmaaster G9 a musical drama action film, he added. Datt also shared that he personally designed the action sequences while developing the screenplay, with an emphasis on creating a polished visual style. It is going to be a very sleek and massy kind of action. I designed the sequences myself while writing. I designed the action to look good, he concluded. Gunmaaster G9 also brings Emraan Hashmi and music composer Himesh Reshammiya together again, adding another element of familiarity to the upcoming project. With Aparshakti Khurana taking on an antagonist role, the film marks a departure from the kind of characters audiences have predominantly seen him portray. The film is currently in production. While the makers have not officially locked a release date, Gunmaaster G9 is reportedly eyeing a Dussehra 2026 theatrical release. Jackie Shroff explored a different side of the superhero genre with The Great Grand Superhero, a film that moves away from the usual portrayal of young, physically powerful superheroes. Instead, the story focuses on ageing, self-worth and the desire to remain useful and appreciated. After its theatrical release earlier this year, the film is set to have its world digital premiere on KidZ on ZEE5 on August 21, 2026. In a conversation with Filmfare, Director Manish Saini revealed that the idea for the film came from a simple question about what a superhero's life could look like after youth. Rather than creating another character known for extraordinary strength, powers or a larger-than-life physique, Saini wanted to explore the emotional experiences that come with growing older. The idea for The Great Grand Superhero was always about thinking of a different kind of superhero. We have already seen young superheroes - they are young, powerful, have great physiques and can fly. I kept wondering, this has already been done, what else can we do with the idea of a superhero, he said. The filmmaker then imagined an ageing and retired grandfather who was actually a superhero. The arrival of a child became central to the story, as children naturally look up to superheroes and could bring a fresh perspective to the grandfather's life. He stated, Then one day, an idea struck me. After a certain age, we start surrendering to the idea that we have grown old, that our time is over and there is nothing left for us to do. So I thought, what if there was a grandfather who had grown old and had retired but was actually a superhero? Then came the child. Children are naturally fascinated by superheroes, so I thought about what the conversation would be between a grandfather who may or may not actually be a superhero and a child who believes in him. Saini said the story also deals with the human need for recognition and appreciation. After a certain age, we also start craving appreciation. Even when we are no longer able to do certain things, the hunger for appreciation and praise is always there. That became the starting point of the story. Speaking about Jackie Shroff, Saini described working with the veteran actor as an effortless experience. He said Shroff immediately showed curiosity about the project and remained actively involved throughout the shoot. Directing Jackie Sir was one of the easiest and most pleasant experiences for me. He is such an easy person to work with and, in many ways, he is like a child himself. He listens, he understands, and from the time I narrated the project to him, I could see a lot of curiosity and interest on his face. He wanted to know how he could become involved in the project and what he could do. Many times, I didn't even feel like such a big star and such a great actor was on my set, Saini says. Saini also highlighted Shroff's natural bond with the children. Although the director usually avoids workshops and rehearsals to preserve spontaneity, Shroff quickly became comfortable around the young actors. Generally, I don't do workshops or rehearsals for my projects because I like the characters to retain their crispness and surprise. With too many rehearsals, that surprise can sometimes disappear. But Jackie Sir became very comfortable with the children very quickly, he understood everything beautifully. Even when he didn't have a dialogue or wasn't in a particular scene, he would sit at the monitor or stay on set and watch what was happening. He was genuinely involved in the process. So working with him was a really great experience. Also Read : The Great Grand Superhero to premiere on KidZ on Zee 5 on August 21
