Following the completion of the international tour, the actor has returned to India and moved directly into the next leg of filming for Tumbbad 2. The development comes as anticipation continues to build around the sequel to the 2018 cult horror film Tumbbad. According to a source, After successfully touring across the US with his stage play Naqaab alongside his daughter Shora Siddiqui, Nawazuddin Siddiqui has now started shooting for the next schedule of Tumbbad 2 in Satara. The first schedule of the much-anticipated sequel to Tumbbad was completed in June, and the team has now resumed work on the next leg of the shoot. The actors schedule reflects his continued involvement in both theatre and cinema. While Naqaab gave Nawazuddin an opportunity to share the stage with his daughter during the US tour, he has now shifted his focus back to the demanding shoot of Tumbbad 2.
