US military bans BYD vehicles from strategic air base in Japan

The US military is set to ban vehicles made by Chinese EV maker BYD at Kadena Air Base. This decision arises from concerns regarding security risks posed by the presence of these vehicles. The ban will take effect on an upcoming Monday as reported by a news agency. BYD, which has recently expanded into international markets, did not immediately comment on this decision.
