41 Naxalites surrender in Chhattisgarh's Bijapur; 32 of them carried Rs 1.19 cr bounty

Forty-one Naxalites, including 12 women and 32 individuals with bounties totaling Rs 1.19 crore, surrendered in Chhattisgarh's Bijapur district. Impressed by the government's rehabilitation policy and the 'Poona Margham' drive, the cadres pledged to live within the democratic framework. This surrender brings the total number of Maoist cadres who have quit violence in the district to 790 since January 2024.
