Varanasi: ICAR-IIVR hosts 3-day grafting training for farmers from 4 states

A three-day grafting training programme was inaugurated at ICAR-IIVR, Varanasi, focusing on equipping farmers with skills in grafting techniques, media preparation, and seedling transplanting. Sanjay Singh encouraged participants to establish nursery-based enterprises, while Parmender Singh emphasized entrepreneurship through advanced technologies. The training aims to promote disease resistance and increased vegetable production, supporting the 'Viksit Krishi-2047' initiative.
