Varanasis Annapurna temple food courts shut for 1st time, kitchens ran even during Covid

Varanasi's renowned Goddess Annapurna 'Annakshetras', which daily serve approximately 25,000 people, were temporarily shut on Saturday due to an LPG shortage. This marks the first closure in decades for the food courts, which have a vow to never stop serving prasad. Management is exploring alternative cooking methods to resume operations.
