PMLA court takes cognisance of ED chargesheet in Rs 1,992 crore JVL Agro bank fraud case

A Lucknow Special Court has taken cognisance of a money laundering case. The Enforcement Directorate filed a prosecution complaint against JVL Agro Industries and 24 others. This case involves alleged bank fraud and wrongful losses of about Rs 1,992 crore. The investigation originated from a CBI bank fraud case concerning loan diversion. Further investigation into this matter is currently continuing.
