Govt notifies Rs 7,280 Cr scheme to boost rare earth magnet production

The Centre has notified a Rs 7,280 crore scheme to promote domestic manufacturing of sintered rare earth permanent magnets. The scheme aims to build an end-to-end value chain, reduce import dependence and support sectors such as EVs, electronics and green energy.
