Indias largest BOT highway project gets Cabinet nod; SuratChennai travel time to drop 45%

The Union Cabinet greenlit a massive 374-km greenfield highway in Maharashtra, connecting Nashik to Solapur and Akkalkot, at an estimated Rs 19,142 crore. This project, part of the Surat-Chennai corridor, is set to be the country's largest BOT highway initiative. It promises to slash travel time by 45% and boost logistics, with completion targeted within two years.
