Google DeepMind will pay very good vibe coders up to $1.1 million, no degree needed

Google DeepMind is hiring engineers for Polaris, a new team that builds hand-crafted tests to measure Gemini's software engineering skills. Total compensation ranges from $550,000 to $1.1 million, and no degree is required. Tamay Besiroglu, whose team runs the interviews, says the company wants people who are smart and can solve hard problems. Experience with AI coding agents helps, and there are no LeetCode questions.
