GRAP-1 invoked in Delhi-NCR: What is banned, what is allowed from November 1

Delhi-NCR has invoked Stage 1 of the Graded Response Action Plan due to poor air quality levels. Restrictions will affect coal-fired tandoors and diesel generator use at eateries to mitigate pollution. Vehicle restrictions will come into effect from November 1, especially targeting non-compliant vehicles. Staggered office timings and increased parking charges aim to reduce congestion and emissions. Authorities plan to closely monitor air quality and implement additional measures as needed.
