India & U.K. overcome last-minute steel hurdle, announce July 15 as trade deal implementation date

The India-UK Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement was signed in July 2025 and was set to be implemented by April or early May 2026. However, a fresh regulation on steel imports by the UK acted as a late-stage hiccup.
