Will T20I skipper Shreyas Iyer find his groove against New Zealand amid a mixed bag run?

Shreyas Iyer will lead Team India in a five-match T20I series against New Zealand starting Thursday. Iyer has been inconsistent as a batsman since becoming captain, with an average of 34.70 in T20Is. However, he has performed well against New Zealand historically, with a strong cross-format record. Despite this, his overall performance in 2023 has been below expectations, scoring 809 runs in 30 innings.
