Who is David Perron? Red Wings add veteran forward from Ottawa Senators for conditional fourth-round draft pick

The Ottawa Senators have traded veteran forward David Perron to the Detroit Red Wings. This move happened just before the NHL trade deadline. Perron returns to Detroit, where he previously played. The Senators also acquired forward Warren Foegele earlier. Both teams are competing for playoff spots in the Atlantic Division.
