What killed Beethoven? His own DNA finally answered after 200 years, with a bombshell twist

A groundbreaking genetic study has provided new insights into the life and death of composer Ludwig van Beethoven nearly 200 years after his passing. Researchers analyzed DNA from authenticated hair samples and found evidence of inherited liver disease risk factors and a hepatitis B infection that may have contributed to his death. The findings also disproved a previous theory linking his health problems to lead poisoning after determining a famous hair sample belonged to an unknown woman.
