West Bengal polls: Asset declaration of Trinamool nominee under I-T probe

The Income-Tax Department is probing Trinamool Congress MLA Debasish Kumar over alleged asset discrepancies after searches uncovered jewellery, bullion worth 1.75 crore, and cash. A report has been submitted to the Election Commission ahead of his re-nomination from Kolkatas Rashbehari seat.
