West Bengal: CEC orders patrolling across state, action amidst threats of violence

West Bengal news: Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar has instructed security forces in West Bengal to conduct continuous patrolling and take stringent action against individuals involved in violence and vandalism. This directive was issued to top officials including the Chief Secretary, DGP, Kolkata Police Commissioner, CAPF Director General, and all District Magistrates and SPs.
