US Midterms: CBS projects blue wave hitting Texas, Dems lead gubernatorial, Senate races

Democrats are making waves in Texas with early leads in both the gubernatorial and Senate races. In the gubernatorial matchup, Gina Hinojosa has gained 57.2 percent of the votes against Greg Abbott, and Senate candidate James Talarico is ahead with 59.4 percent against Ken Paxton. These gains suggest a potential political shift in a state long-held by Republicans, paralleling trends seen in Kansas.
