UPPL to decide Assam poll alliance strategy this month

The United People's Party Liberal, a BJP ally in Assam, will finalise its election alliance strategy this month. A Central Executive Committee meeting on January 24 and a Central Conference on January 30-31 will decide the party's course. Meanwhile, the Bodoland People's Front has ruled out a joint contest with UPPL for the upcoming Assembly polls.
