Two ships hit by projectiles in Strait of Hormuz, maritime agency says

A tanker and a container ship were struck by projectiles of unknown origin in the Strait of Hormuz. This incident occurred while Iran has been asserting control over the waterway, blocking transit since the onset of the war. An investigation into the attacks is underway, but there has been no information on damage or casualties. Following US and Israeli strikes against Tehran, tensions have escalated in the region significantly.
