Turkey's parliament set to ratify defence pact with Saudi Arabia, Pakistan as Houthi attacks mount

Turkey's parliament will ratify a defence pact with Saudi Arabia and Pakistan including mutual defence obligations. This agreement aims to boost military cooperation and enhance regional security in response to Iranian-backed threats. The pact allows for limited military support, focusing on equipment and intelligence sharing, rather than combat engagement. A mandate for deploying Turkish military personnel will also be submitted to the parliament.
