A violent incident unfolded in Melbourne when a masked group attacked a restaurant gathering with machetes. An 18-year-old was hospitalized with injuries. Separately, a truck driver tragically lost his life in a multi-vehicle collision on a Victorian road. Several others were taken to hospital following the crash. Police are investigating both incidents.
