Tallahassee residents could witness rare Sunday snow as cold front moves through the region

Residents in Tallahassee and nearby regions may experience a rare winter event early Sunday as rain blends with or briefly turns into snow. A strong cold front will result in colder air, allowing a light dusting initially north of the city. Any accumulation is anticipated to be minimal, typically a trace to one inch, mostly on grass and elevated areas, leaving roads mostly wet and safe.
