TMC MP Kirti Azad questions why cricket world cup trophy was taken to a temple

Trinamool Congress MP Kirti Azad has criticized Indian cricket captain Suryakumar Yadav and ICC chairman Jay Shah. He stated that the T20 World Cup trophy was taken to a temple in Ahmedabad. Azad emphasized that sports unite all religions and the victory belongs to all Indians. He questioned why the trophy was not taken to other religious places.
