Supreme Court allows entry of pregnant woman, her child into India from Bangladesh on humanitarian grounds

The Supreme Court has permitted a pregnant woman and her eight-year-old child to enter India on humanitarian grounds after their deportation to Bangladesh. The West Bengal government will provide care and medical assistance, while the Centre agreed to their entry under surveillance. The court will eventually facilitate their return to Delhi.
